This really is an amazing and unusual piece .
A silver plated pot pourri dish with lid , made by Weidlich Brother & CO of USA .
The pattern name is"Tapestry " a densely packed design of flowers over the lid and inner bowl .
The footed base is 11 3/4" diameter . This is where you place the fragrant petals and flowers . The lid goes on top and has a central knob with openwork design to allow the smell to come through .
This is electroplated nickel silver ( EPNS).
Estate fresh and needing a good clean .
An amazing centerpiece and very hard to find .
