IMPORTANT VICTORIAN AESTHETIC PERIOD SILVER FOOTED BOWL FLORAL CENTERPIECE BOWL - FIGURAL FOOTED BOWL FLORAL CENTERPIECE BOWL
- used often for floral arranging or as a "card receiver" or as my sister did years ago as a BRIDES BASKET - it appears to have some acid etched design / motif - very special  -- THE FOOTED BOWL HAS INTRICATE ALMOST CLASSICAL DESIGN MOTIF -
ELEGANT FORM INTRICATE  - No personalization / monograms.  These bowls are not made anymore.  Offered here is an estate item with patina of gentle use, could use a professional light polish if next owner desires to have it restored to brand new shape etc. -- sold as is -- as pictured.
View marks to determine maker.  This is the quality one would expect from the fine maker.  Purchased in New York city by my grandparents after the World War. This bowl shows age / wear and is NOT marked sterling - hence we list as silver plate - bowl measures about 8" wide by 12" high and 13" long. Great condition for an antique - view pictures.  Hallmarked as shown in pictures.
IMPRESSIVE BOWL - Gilded age elegance!
Interior has typical use scratches / dings and overall this shows some regular use - it is an antique - but it is in very good condition.  Sits without wobbles, no repairs nor removals of monos in the past.  This was not an inexpensive bowl.
Never personalized with any monogram, no inscription or modification (which we're told is rare and damages the value significantly for most collectors).
This is a bowl to cherish and use.
This is an heirloom quality collection item.  Collector's items, yet eminently appropriate for contemporary use.
Parents were serious about entertaining in a way I am not.  My family invested in quality items for gracious living.
CONDITION:  VERY GOOD - keep in mind it is a used antique from the two centuries ago --- minimal evidence of use --- older, not brand new.  As seen in pictures this looks nice!  Great wedding gift item and it could be professionally polished/restored to make it look brand new if you choose.
Lots of Really Great Stunning items to a
dd to your collection.  Starting each lot at very reasonable prices.
Please review picture(s) for condition etc.  Not new, but Used Good Estate Condition with expected use on treasured old items.  No Monograms or Removals not noted -  Some hand washing/polishing needed!
Vintage heirloom quality, these were used for 30+ years for entertaining, as the items were acquired post World War II.
This is an outstanding, truly versatile, group/set of good weight/heft, elegant pattern.  Bid based on info above, but know these were from a very good collection of very fine household goods that were well taken care of.
No major flaws or damages not mentioned, expect general marks, spots, scratches, wear and patina commensurate with age and use of treasured serverware/flatware used for special meals/holidays.  All this has been stored away in the box for many years and a simple cleaning/polishing will make it look even more elegant on your table.
Most or all hosts would feel quite comfortable using this when entertaining the most special guests in your home.
