MSD Pro-Billet Distributors are the finest performance and racing distributors available. Every feature has been engineered to endure the rigors of high performance and racing engines. Whether cruising the streets or racing stock cars, dragsters, boats or trucks, MSD has a distributor for it. MSD uses state-of-the-art, Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to machine each housing. After a long series of precise cuts and movements, the billet is formed into a flawless distributor housing that is accurate to within 0.001". The flex-free housings are lightweight, have no porosity or weak areas and look great on polished, show quality engines.

Polished steel shaft is QPQ coated and guided by a sealed ball bearing for smooth operation at all rpms
Maintenance-free magnetic pickup and precision reluctor create stable trigger signals throughout the rpm range
CNC machined billet aluminum housing and billet aluminum base providing superior strength and great looks
Easy-to-adjust mechanical advance with supplied springs and stop bushings (except locked out versions)
Advance plate and weights are fine blanked from chrome moly steel and QPQ coated for friction reduction
Advance weight pins are staked and tig welded to the plate
Nylon pads ensure smooth operation of the advance weights
Mechanical advance assembly can be locked out for crank trigger systems or racing applications

This is an official MSD Factory Reconditioned product listing.
Factory Reconditioned products consist of products that were originally sold new, or sent out as demo units, these products were then returned, sometimes without even being opened. Once we receive a product back, it is tested and then reconditioned to original factory specifications by Manufacturer-trained technicians. The testing process assures that the product meets the same stringent quality standards that are required for new products.
Since these products may show signs of a previous installation, minor wear or other cosmetic defect our policy is not to sell them as new.  Rather than scrapping them, we are making them directly available to the public.  Not only does this help us control the costs of our new products, it allows you to get a great deal on a like-new product!

Warranty & Return Policy
MSD Factory Refurbished products are warranted for a period of 90 days from date of sale for defects in material and workmanship. Any defective items will be repaired or replaced at MSD’s discretion.
In the unlikely event you have a problem with your Factory Reconditioned product, please call MSD's tech line at (915) 855-7123, Should a tech service associate determine that it is necessary to return the item for repair or replacement, you will be given instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA).
Buyer is responsible for return shipping; however, MSD will cover shipping the repaired or replaced item back to the buyer.
Expedited freight may be available upon request and at buyer’s expense.
This Factory Reconditioned Warranty supersedes any new product warranty that may be included in your kit.
