VINTAGE Schwinn Sting-Ray 5-Speed "Pea Picker" Krate Bicycle in Very Nice Condition. This Krate bike was sold Brand New at Slipp's Cycle Supply in Brainerd, Minnesota, is an original survivor Krate bicycle that was not ridden hard- and was taken great care of by its owner. All of the main parts including crank, handlebar support, and handlebars are ORIGINAL and correctly date coded. The repaint is newer and in great condition- bike frame was stripped, professionally primed, and candy painted to original specifications in 1995 with Pete's HyperFormance Rays candy paint. The seat is the ORIGINAL that was sold on the bike when new  and is in great condition- NO tears, holes, or fading in the green sparkly seat vinyl.  The front and rear fenders are NOS (New Old Stock) Schwinn and are  1960's to 1970's originals made in Chicago, USA. Rear tire is newer Schwinn "White Letter" made around the late 1990's. The rear 5-speed derailleur body and components are NOS with a new chain.  The rear brake calipers and pads are are New Old Stock Schwinn as well as both left and Right handlebar brake levers. Handlebar grips are original to the bike as well as the rear springer, front springer fork, and brake drum and components. Front tire is NOS USA made 16" Schwinn Superior- a true survivor. This bike even has the original sparkly green brake grips. All other parts are original to this bike. Other chrome is original in very nice condition with some minor imperfections. Cables are brand new.  100% authentic and MADE IN USA.
