Item Description :
This is a Japanese pottery tea bowl of Bizen Ware, which was
made by a famous potter, Chiharu Masamune
about 20 years ago.
​The signature of the the potter is carved on the bottom.
The original wooden box with the signature of the potter and his progile are also included.
Bizen ware is a type of Japanese pottery most identifiable by its ironlike hardness, reddish brown color, absence of glaze, and marklings resulting from wood-burning kiln firing.
